    Wig Dictionary

    Lace front wig

A lace front wig is similar to a lace top wig, but the lace only goes along the front hairline. This creates a natural-looking hairline and allows the wig to be styled away from the face. It is a popular option for people who want to change their hairstyle or try a new look.

    Lace top wig

A lace top wig has a cap that is made of a fine lace material, which allows for the scalp to be visible through the wig. This creates a very natural-looking hairline and can be a good option for people who want a very realistic wig, regardless of hair loss.

    Skin top wig

A skin top wig has a cap that is made to look like skin at the top, so that the hair appears to be growing directly from the scalp. This type of wig is designed to create a natural-looking part and is often used for fashion or cosplay purposes.

    Virgin hair

Virgin hair refers to hair that has never been chemically processed or treated with any kind of dye, bleach, or perm. This type of hair is considered to be the highest quality and is often used to make wigs or hairpieces for a natural, realistic look.

    Weft

A weft is a long strip of hair that has been sewn together at the top. Wefts are used in wigs or as a base for creating hairpieces.
